Meet the Makers

Tessera is a collective of brand strategists, designers, and storytellers who believe branding is an alchemy of history, artistry, and purpose.


  • Founder / Photographer

    Britta graduated from Wheaton College with a Bachelors in Music Composition. She has spent many years as a manager working to bring teams together, which only fueled her desire to build Tessera. She specializes in brand photography including product images and personal brand images.


  • Junior Copywriter / Social Media Marketing

    Sophie, a recent University of Minnesota graduate with a Bachelor's in English, brings a creative edge to our team. She supports social media marketing and produces engaging content for both our internal initiatives and client projects.


  • Copywriter

    After graduating Wheaton College with a Bachelors in English Writing, Betsy worked for many years as a copywriter in the creative department at Target and eventually left to pursue freelance in the same field. She loved using her creativity to help people articulate themselves well.


  • System Processes and Client Relations

    Kristen graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management. At Tessera, Kristen is responsible for both the human and technical side of systems, data, and automation. Not only does she care for clients and build relationships, but she helps our team and our processes be the most efficient they can be!


  • SEO Specialist

    Sara holds a BA in Communications, Advertising, and Web Design from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire. As an SEO Strategist at Tessera, she works to enhance digital presence and drive organic growth for the company.
